Donatello - Crew Length PROLEN® Polypropylene and Merino Wool Double Layer Anti-Blister Socks

 Introducing 'Donatello' Norfolk's first Double Layer Merino Wool outdoor sock! So what makes our 'Donatello' sock so unique? Well, first of it's rocking our favourite outdoor sock material Merino Wool, but in developing this sock, we wanted it to be something special! So we have paired the Merino wool mix outer with a Prolen® inner layer. Prolen® is a fantastic yarn for a number of reasons. Firstly, it's smooth and soft, helping to prevent friction between your skin and the sock, helping to prevent rubbing and blisters.

Most blisters are caused by abrasion, and this usually happens when your feet get hot and sweaty. But Prolen® has a trick up its sleeve, working as a dry layer against your skin; it passes moisture to the outer layer.

The   invisible flat toe seam  provide comfort inside the shoes and minimises friction across the toes that can lead to blisters and sores, making these socks the perfect accompaniment for any mountain boot.

This keeps your feet cool and dry, and cool and dry means happy blister-free feet! But we didn't stop there. We have also incorporated twin ankle and arch support along with a fully cushioned foot bottom and ergonomically shaped left and right feet. Making these socks a must for any serious walker.
